FoodShare

The Daily Plate

Est. 2026 ยท Independent food journal

Our story

FoodShare started with a simple idea: food stories should be shared, not hoarded. What began as a notebook of restaurant recommendations and hand-scrawled recipes has grown into a daily editorial journal celebrating the people, places, and plates that define how we eat.

We believe every meal has a story worth telling โ€” the grandmother who passes down her brisket technique, the chef who experiments with fermented cheese in a tiny kitchen, the street vendor who serves the best late-night noodles you've ever had. FoodShare exists to document and share those stories.

Our mission

Our mission is to bring readers closer to the food they love. We publish well-researched articles, practical cooking guides, and thoughtful dining recommendations that respect both the craft of cooking and the joy of eating.

We are independent. We accept no sponsorships that compromise our editorial judgment. Every recommendation we make is based on our own experience, not an advertiser's budget.

Our values

Independence. We answer to our readers, not advertisers. Our reviews are earned, not bought.

Respect. We honor the traditions, techniques, and cultures behind the food we write about.

Accessibility. Great food doesn't have to be complicated. We write for home cooks and curious eaters everywhere.

Curiosity. There's always something new to learn. We approach every story with an open mind and an empty stomach.
